Turkey’s construction costs rise by 105.73% annually
In May 2022, construction cost index (CCI) increased by 3.97% compared with previous month and increased by 105.73% compared with the same month of the previous year, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute.

Building construction cost index increased by 102.32% annually and by 3.84% monthly
Building construction cost index increased by 3.84% compared with previous month and increased by 102.32% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 4.88% and labor index increased by 0.06% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 126.55% and labor index increased by 43.98% compared with the previous year.
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 117.40% annually and by 4.37% monthly
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 4.37% compared with previous month and increased by 117.40% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 5.23% and labor index increased by 0.64% compared with the previous month.
