Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding the organizations’ relief efforts in Afghanistan, Fikri Karavil, the head of Orphans Foundation, drew attention to the dire hunger crisis in the country.
“Everywhere we went, we witnessed the high level of hunger and poverty. Despite all the difficulties, people welcomed us very warmly. People have difficulty finding their daily food. Despite the hunger and poverty, people are not complaining about their condition. We organized this sacrificial slaughter event together with the international aid organizations, IHO-EBRAR, and European Orphan Hand as well as Hope Caravan Foundation," Karavil said.
The organizations launched sacrificial slaughter campaigns not only in Afghanistan but also in Africa, Asia, and the Balkan countries, especially in Turkey. (ILKHA)
