Orphans Foundation, Hope Caravan Foundation provide cash assistance to needy in Afghanistan
Orphans Foundation and Hope Caravan Foundation have distributed cash assistance to hundreds of families in need ahead of Eid Al-Adha in Kabul.
While Muslims worldwide are set to celebrate Islam's holy Feast of Sacrifice – known as Eid Al Adha, as Humanitarian Aid Organizations, the foundations have sped up their aid efforts in many countries across the world, including Afghanistan.
The officials of the foundations, who went to Afghanistan for the charity work to be carried out during and after the Eid-al-Adha, provided cash aid to the needy.
Orphans Foundation Chairman Fikri Karavil said that, along with the Hope Caravan Foundation, they distributed aid to families in need, including orphaned children, in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.
“As we were two days away from Eid, we brought the previously identified poor families to our office and gave them humanitarian aids that were donated by philanthropists to the Orphans Foundation and the Caravan of Hope Foundation. Today we have distributed 50 dollars to each of 200 orphans and 161 poor families. I hope that these people will meet their needs on Eid with these aids. May Allah be pleased with our benefactors for their contributions,” Karavil said. (ILKHA)
