55,000 Palestinians perform Friday prayer at al-Aqsa
Tens of thousands of Palestinian worshipers performed Friday prayer at al-Aqsa Mosque despite the zionist police restrictions throughout Occupied Jerusalem.
Jerusalemite sources affirmed that 55,000 worshipers managed to perform the Friday prayer at the holy site.
Since the morning hours, Palestinian worshipers flocked to Occupied Jerusalem to perform the Friday prayer at al-Aqsa. Zionist police forces attacked many of them near Bab Hitta.
The zionist police forces also set up dozens of roadblocks, conducted extensive searches and checks on Palestinians and their ID cards, and prevented hundreds of West Bankers from reaching the holy Islamic site.
During the Friday sermon, al-Aqsa Mosque preacher, Sheikh Muhammad Salim, called for intensifying Palestinian presence at al-Aqsa.
Sheikh Salim also pointed to the Jewish settlers' provocative break-ins into the site, calling for keeping it purely Islamic.
Earlier in the morning, hundreds performed dawn prayer at the holy site despite israeli restrictions. (ILKHA)
