Turkey records its first monkeypox case--Health Minister
A 37-year-old person have tested positive for monkeypox virus, Turkish Health Minister Fahrettin Koca said on Thursday.
“The 37-year-old patient has an immune system deficiency. He is in isolation. Contact tracing was carried, no other case was detected. As it is known, this disease is not transmitted by breathing, but by close physical contact,” Koca tweeted. (ILKHA)
