The grand assembly of Afghanistan Ulema started with the recitation of some verses from the Holy Quran by the Imam of Wazir Mohammad Akbar Khan Mosque, Qari Mohammadullah Mohsin.

“We thank all Ulema and tribal elders who participated in this meeting. Thank you!  You are well aware that under the rule of the Islamic system, all those who used to fight the Mujahideen have been pardoned, but they still create troubles for our country from abroad,” Prime Minister Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund said in his opening remarks at the assembly.

Akhund stated that people who had ruined Afghanistan the past two decades and moved to foreign countries still created problems for Afghan people.

“Now the Islamic system has established, we must do all we can to strengthen it,” Akhund emphasized.

Underlining that Islamic Emirate is making efforts in all areas to respond to all miseries, Akhund said: “There may be problems in some fields, but whoever shares them with us, we will take steps to solve them.”

Akhund called on Ulema and tribal elders “to make clear to people who are still standing against the Islamic system what they want to achieve, and they should be questioned for their opposition to the Islamic administration.”

“Scholars and elders! This system is your home, if you are not serviced or have another problem, you can solve it as your own responsibility,” he added. (ILKHA)
