Orphans Foundation, Hope Caravan continue offering humanitarian aid in Afghanistan
Orphans Foundation and Hope Caravan Foundation have provided hot meals to hundreds of people in Paktika province where a 6.1 magnitude quake killed more than 1,000 people.
In cooperation with Bashair Foundation, the two organizations are continuing their charitable efforts in eastern Afghanistan.
They have provided hot meals to more than 500 people affected by the earthquake in Gayan district of Paktika province.
“We will continue to distribute hot meals to at least 500 people for 5 days in a row in the earthquake-affected areas. We also will distribute food parcels to these people,” an Orphans Foundation official said.
The official also thanked philanthropists for their contributions to the foundation’s charity projects in Afghanistan, where 42 percent of the total population lives below the poverty line. (ILKHA)
