EU foreign policy chief to visit Tehran
High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, will visit Iran on 24-25 June, as part of the ongoing efforts to bring the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) back to full implementation.

“I am travelling to Tehran, as coordinator of the #JCPOA, to meet my counterpart @Amirabdolahian and other relevant Iranian authorities. Diplomacy is the only way to go back to full implementation of the deal and to reverse current tensions,” Borrell said on Twitter.

Borrell, acting in his capacity as coordinator of the JCPOA, will hold meetings with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and other relevant Iranian counterparts. (ILKHA)
