Türkiye’s Erdoğan, UN Chief hold phone call
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres.
The call addressed the initiatives aimed at resolving the ongoing crisis caused by the Russia-Ukraine war, according to Turkish presidency.
Erdoğan stated that Türkiye maintained joint efforts to ensure the exportation of the Ukrainian grains over the Black Sea, which would be effective in terms of averting a global food crisis.
Erdoğan noted that he continued to urge his counterparts to revive the peace negotiations and end the war through diplomacy. (ILKHA)
