Turkish President and Justice and Development (AK) Party Chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed Thursday the extended meeting of his party’s provincial heads in Ankara.
“Our 12-month export volume has exceeded $243 billion as of May. Let me remind you that Türkiye has reached this point from a yearly export volume of $36 billion,” Erdoğan said.
Underscoring that due to the coronavirus pandemic, the humanity had been going through the gravest and the most widespread crisis of its history for the past two and a half years, President Erdoğan noted that Türkiye was one of the leading countries that had dealt with the healthcare crisis in the most successful manner, and said: “The ratios for export, employment and industry capacity utilization show how coherent and accurate the policies we pursue are. Last year, our export volume surpassed 225 billion dollars, the greatest export figure of our history. And as of this may, our 12-month export volume has exceeded 243 billion dollars. Let me remind you that Türkiye has reached this point from a yearly export volume of 36 billion dollars.” (ILKHA)
