Turkey’s current account deficit at $2,737 million in April
Turkish Central Bank said on Monday that the country's current account was seen a deficit of $2.737 billion in April.
“The current account recorded a deficit of USD 2,737 million, increasing by USD 1,222 million compared to the same month of the previous year, hence bringing the 12-month rolling deficit to USD 25,710 million,” the bank said.
“Gold and energy excluded current account indicated USD 4,022 million surplus, increasing from USD 1,132 million surplus observed in the same month of the previous year,” it added. (ILKHA)
