Scores of Palestinians injured in West Bank clashes
Scores of Palestinians were injured on Friday after the zionist occupation forces (ZOF) fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas bombs at Palestinian protestors to quell the anti-settlement marches in several areas of the West Bank.
According to local sources, the ZOF soldiers fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs, leaving dozens of Palestinians injured during violent clashes that erupted in Beit Dajan and Beita villages in Nablus in addition to Kafr Qaddoum village in Qalqilya and the Masafer Yatta in al-Khalil.
Scores of Palestinians including two journalists were wounded after the Jewish settlers beat them with rifle butts during the settlers' attack on the anti-settlement march in the Masafer Yatta in al-Khalil.
Furthermore, two foreign activists were beaten and arrested after they participated in the anti-settlement march in Masafer Yatta.
In a related incident, the ZOF soldiers detained 4 Palestinian young men at the Arraba roundabout south of Jenin. They also stormed several entrances of the West Bank city of Jenin and set up makeshift checkpoints at the entrances.
Moreover, Jewish settlers, protected by ZOF soldiers, raided the Qaryut village in the West Bank city of Nablus. (ILKHA)
