Türkiye’s religious affairs head slams Indian politician for insulting the Prophet
Türkiye’s President of Religious Affairs Prof. Dr. Ali Erbaş condemned Indian ruling party officials' offensive remarks about the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
“I strongly condemn the insulting statements towards our Beloved Prophet (saw),” Erbaş said on Twitter.
Stating that this incident is a result of discriminatory and prohibitive policies implemented against Muslims in India and all around the world, Erbaş went on to say: “I invite authorities of India to review their policy in the face of increasing hostility towards Islam in their country and to maintain a stance to ensure the religious freedoms of Muslims.”
