Turkey extends condolences to Bangladesh for explosion victims
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the explosion in Bangladesh.
“We are deeply saddened to learn that as a result of explosions and the ensuing fire in the container depot near the city of Chittagong, Bangladesh, many people have lost their lives and many others were injured,” the Ministry said.
“We extend our sincere condolences to the friendly and brotherly people and the Government of Bangladesh and wish Allah’s mercy upon those who lost their lives and swift recovery to the injured” the Ministry added.
On Sunday, at least 49 people were killed and hundreds of others injured after a fire sparked a huge chemical explosion at a shipping container depot near the city of Chittagong, Bangladesh. (ILKHA)
