Pakistan PM arrives in Turkey on three-day official visit
Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Tuesday arrived in Ankara on a three-day official visit.
“During the talks to be held as part of the visit, all aspects of the Türkiye-Pakistan relations will be reviewed, and steps that would further enhance the cooperation between the two countries will be discussed,” the Turkish presidency said in a statement.
Besides the bilateral relations, views on current regional and international developments will be exchanged on the occasion of the visit, according to the statement.
“In my interaction with the Turkish business community last night, I expressed my keen desire to take the volume of bilateral trade to $5 billion in 2 years. We will take necessary steps to facilitate visas for Turkish citizens & business persons to boost trade & people-to-people contacts,” Sharif tweeted after addressing Turkey-Pakistan Business Forum in Ankara, Turkey.
