Wounded detainee from Jenin pronounced dead in israeli hospital
Dawoud al-Zubeidi, a wounded detainee from Jenin, was pronounced dead on Sunday morning after he succumbed to a serious bullet injury he sustained last Friday during a zionist raid on Jenin refugee camp.
Zubeidi’s family said yesterday it was informed by the zionist occupation army that their son had been injured and detained during Friday’s raid on Jenin camp and transferred in critical condition to a hospital in 1948 occupied Palestine.
According to the Hebrew media, Zubeidi was critically wounded in his abdomen in a gun battle two days ago and was taken to a local hospital for treatment, but when his condition worsened, he was transferred to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.
A zionist police officer was reportedly killed during the same armed clashes.
Dawoud is the brother of Zakaria Zubeidi, who escaped with five others from Gilboa jail in September 2021 before they were recaptured a few days later. His mother and brother, Taha, were killed by the Israeli occupation forces in Jenin refugee camp in April 2002. (ILKHA)
