Turkey: Construction cost goes up by 101.5% on annual basis
The construction cost index increased by 101.57% annually and by 9.58% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Wednesday.
In March 2022, construction cost index (CCI) increased by 9.58% compared with previous month and increased by 101.57% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 12.19% and labor index increased by 1.22% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 128.11% and labor index increased by 42.59% compared with the previous year.
Building construction cost index increased by 98.14% annually and by 8.80% monthly
Building construction cost index increased by 8.80% compared with previous month and increased by 98.14% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 11.28% and labor index increased by 1.16% compared with the previous month.
Also, material index increased by 123.87% and labor index increased by 42.58% compared with the previous year.
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 113.28% annually and by 12.13% monthly
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 12.13% compared with previous month and increased by 113.28% compared with the same month of the previous year.
Material index increased by 15.04% and labor index increased by 1.44% compared with the previous month.
