HÜDA PAR calls for permanent ceasefire in Yemen
HÜDA PAR (Free Cause Party) has called on the warring parties in Yemen to show strong will for a permanent ceasefire and to stop ceasefire violations.
In its weekly statement regarding international issues, HÜDA PAR addressed ceasefire violations in Yemen and the zionist regime’s aggressions against Al Aqsa Mosque.
Ceasefire violations in Yemen
“Although a ceasefire was declared in Yemen for two months in April, growing hopes for peace in the country, it has been violated by the warring parties frequently. Peace and stability should be ensured in the country, which was destroyed by civil war for many years and where a large part of the population is in need of humanitarian aid due to famine and epidemics. The parties that are fighting with each other for power in Yemen should prioritize the welfare of the civilian people and show a strong will for a permanent ceasefire, stopping the ceasefire violations. The regional powers that are effective on the parties should play a guarantor role in this process and take action to ensure stability in the country. Humanitarian aid must be provided immediately for civilians who are in an aggrieved situation and efforts should be made to accelerate the political transition calendar in this ceasefire process.
The aggressions of the zionist occupation regime against the Al Aqsa Mosque
“On the pretext of celebrating the ‘Independence Day', the zionist settlers on Thursday, May 5, raided Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of occupation soldiers and police and wanted to hang the occupation regime’s flag over the Kattanin Gate. The zionists, who tried to enter the Qibla mosque, the largest mosque in the Al-Aqsa complex, attacked our Palestinian brothers inside with tear gas, live, and rubber bullets. Dozens of people were injured and dozens were held captive with their hands tied,” HÜDA PAR reminded.
HÜDA PAR went on to say: “The zionist occupation regime aims to break the will of the Muslims, who are trying to protect Aqsa, to allow the fanatical Jews to enter and perform their rituals comfortably, and finally to occupy it completely. This attack and occupation against Aqsa are unacceptable. Al Aqsa Mosque is considered a place holy by all Muslims and it is the duty and responsibility of all Muslims to protect it. Due to the international silence on the behavior of zionist regime in the occupied territories, its aggressions are going unpunished as always. The rulers of Islamic countries and the ummah should show the necessary reaction on this issue and Al-Aqsa Mosque should not be left alone.” (ILKHA)
