Turkey offers condolences to Nigeria over explosion victims
Turkish Foreign Ministry has issued a press release regarding the explosion in Nigeria.
“We are deeply saddened to receive the news that at least 100 people were killed in the explosion that took place at an oil refining depot in southern Nigeria,” the Ministry said.
“We extend our sincere condolences to the families of those who lost their lives, as well as to the friendly and brotherly people of Nigeria, and wish a swift recovery to the injured,” the Ministry added.
On Friday, an explosion in southern Nigeria killed over 100 people. It happened at an illegal oil refinery on the boundary of Imo State and Rivers State. (ILKHA)
