Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı), an international help organization based in Istanbul, Turkey, engaged in a great deal of charity works such as the construction of mosques and freshwater wells and the delivery of food, clothes, and shoes in African countries.

The foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı) inaugurated a mosque named after “Masjid Al Aqsa”, the third holiest site in Islam, as well as a freshwater well in Mali.

Many locals attended the opening ceremony of the mosque and the water well, which was held in the mosque courtyard.

The imam of the mosque passed away the day before the opening

“We would like to thank all the benefactors who contributed to the construction of the mosque. The imam of the mosque passed away one day before the opening. We wish Allah's mercy on him. May Allah grant him the highest place in paradise,” the foundation said in a written statement. (ILKHA)
