More than 30 people killed in fresh bomb attack on mosque in northern Afghanistan
A bomb attack targeted a mosque in Imam Sahib district of Kunduz, killing at least 30 people and injuring dozens of others, local sources reported.
An eyewitness said there were more than 30 people killed or injured but security forces have not provided numbers.
No group has so far claimed the responsibility for the attack but several blasts claimed by Islamic State hit the northern cities of Kundu and Mazar-e-Sharif the previous day. (ILKHA)
