The provinces with the lowest number of sales were Ardahan with 25, Bayburt with 82, and Tunceli with 103 house sales.

Houses sales increased by 21.7% in January-March 2022

In January-March period, house sales increased by 21.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 320 thousand 63.

Mortgaged house sales became 30 thousand 271

In Türkiye, mortgaged house sales increased by 38.8% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 30 thousand 271. Mortgaged house sales had 22.6% share of all house sales. In January-March period, mortgaged house sales increased by 44.7% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 68 thousand 342.

7 thousand 767 of mortgaged house sales in March and 18 thousand 485 of mortgaged house sales in January-March period released as first hand sales.

Other house sales became 103 thousand 899

In Türkiye, other house sales increased by 16.2% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 103 thousand 899. Other house sales had 77.4% share of all house sales. In January-March period, other house sales increased by 16.6% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 251 thousand 721.

38 thousand 337 houses were sold for the first time

In Türkiye, first time house sales increased by 14.9% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 38 thousand 337. First time sales had 28.6% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In January-March period, first time house sales increased by 17.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 94 thousand 437.

Second hand house sales became 95 thousand 833

In Türkiye, second hand house sales increased by 23.1% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 95 thousand 833. Second hand sales had 71.4% share of all house sales in Türkiye. In January-March period, second hand house sales increased by 23.5% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 225 thousand 626.

In March, 5 thousand 567 houses were sold to foreigners

House sales to foreigners increased by 31.0% in March compared to the same month of the previous year and became 5 thousand 567. House sales to foreigners had 4.1% share of all house sales in March. İstanbul ranked first with 2 thousand 245 sales to foreigners. The followers of İstanbul were Antalya with a thousand 434 house sales and Ankara with 347 house sales to foreigners.

In January-March period, house sales to foreigners increased by 45.1% compared to the same period of the previous year and became 14 thousand 344.

House sales were mostly made to Iran citizens according to nationalities

In March, Iran citizens bought 784 houses from Türkiye. The followers of Iran citizens were Iraq citizens with 741 house sales and Russia citizens with 547 house sales. (ILKHA)
