People take to streets to protest police killing of Patrick Lyoya
The video of Patrick Lyoya being killed by a Grand Rapids police officer was released on Wednesday.
Demonstrators gathered at Rosa Parks Circle at 5 p.m. Wednesday following the video release of the police killing of Patrick Lyoya.
They marched down Monroe Center to the police department headquarters to show their anger at police brutality.
On the morning of April 4, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Patrick Lyoya, a 26-year-old immigrant from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, was fatally shot in the back of the head by an officer of the Grand Rapids Police Department (GRPD). (ILKHA)
