France Orphan Hand distributes clothing aid to needy children in Uganda
France Orphan Hand (Fransa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Paris, has distributed clothes to hundreds of needy children in Namutumba, a district in eastern Uganda.
The organization, which aids orphans and the needy in many countries across the world, including Tanzania, Palestine, and Turkey, intensified its relief efforts in Uganda on the occasion of Ramadan, Islam's holy month of fasting.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their charitable activities in the country, Ümit Ateş, the deputy chairman of France Orphan Hand, said: “We are carrying on our relief efforts in various countries. We are now in Uganda. We have provided clothes to needy children here. I would like to call on all Muslims, especially those in Europe, to give more donations to the organization. As they increase their donations to us, we will be able to reach more needy people.” (ILKHA)
