The number of employed persons increased by 90 thousand to 30 million 6 thousand persons in February 2022 compared to the previous month. The employment rate occurred as 46.6% without any change. In addition, this rate was 64.0% for men, 29.6% for women.

The number of persons in the labor force realized as 33 million 585 thousand persons with 87 thousand persons decrease in February 2022 compared to the previous month. Labor force participation rate was 52.2% with 0.2 percentage point decrease. Also, this rate was 70.6% for men, it was 34.2% for women.

Seasonally adjusted youth unemployment rate was 20.7%

The youth unemployment rate in the 15-24 age group was 20.7% with 0.6 percentage point decrease compared to the previous month. While this rate was estimated 17.7% for men and 26.5% for women.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted average weekly actual working hours of persons at work during the reference period increased by 0.3 hours and estimated 45.6 hours compared to the previous month in February 2022.

Seasonally adjusted composite measure of labor underutilization rate realized as 21.8%

In February 2022, the rate of composite measure of labor underutilization consisting of time-related underemployment, potential labor force and unemployment was 21.8% with 0.9 percentage point decrease compared to the previous month.
