“We have seen no indication that President Putin has changed his ambition to control the whole of Ukraine and also to rewrite the international order, so we need to be prepared for the long haul,” he said.

He added: “We need to support Ukraine, sustain our sanctions, and strengthen our defenses and our deterrence”.

NATO Foreign Ministers are also expected to discuss the development of NATO’s next Strategic Concept, a roadmap for the Alliance’s continued adaptation in a more dangerous world.

Foreign Ministers from Ukraine, Finland, Sweden, and Georgia will take part in the meeting, as well as the EU High Representative. NATO’s Asia-Pacific partners – Australia, Japan, New Zealand, and the Republic of Korea – will also participate. (ILKHA)
