Russia says it destroys 24 more military facilities in Ukraine
The Russian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that 24 military objects were destroyed in Ukraine over the past day.
“On the morning of April 6, high-precision air and ground-based missiles destroyed five bases for storing fuel and lubricants in Radekhov, Kazatin, Prosyanaya, Nikolaev, and Novomoskovsk. From these facilities, military equipment was supplied with fuel to groups of Ukrainian troops in the regions of Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, and Donbas,” the ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said at a daily press briefing in Moscow.
“During the night, operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces and missile forces hit 24 military facilities of Ukraine. Among them are the Osa-AKM anti-aircraft missile system, five warehouses for logistics, as well as 11 strongholds and areas of concentration of military equipment of Ukrainian troops.”
Konashenkov said that Russian air defense systems shot down four unmanned aerial vehicles in the air in Berdyansk, Gornyak, Uvanskoye, and Chernobaevka.
“In total, since the beginning of the special military operation, the following have been destroyed: 125 aircraft, 93 helicopters, 407 unmanned aerial vehicles, 227 anti-aircraft missile systems, 1981 tanks, and other armored combat vehicles, 215 multiple rocket launchers, 854 field artillery, and mortar guns, as well as 1882 units of special military vehicles,” he added.
