Hope Caravan Foundation builds mosque in Somalia
Hope Caravan Foundation (Umut Kervanı Vakfı), an international help organization based in Istanbul, Turkey, has been carrying on its charity work in Africa, inaugurating a mosque in Mogadishu, the Somali capital.
Hope Caravan Foundation, which has been helping the orphans and the poor in many countries across the world, engaged in a great deal of charity works such as the construction of mosques and freshwater wells and the delivery of food, clothes, and shoes in Africa countries.
After the construction of the mosque called “Masjid an-Nabawi”, whose foundations were laid in Mogadishu in December 2021 by the Hope Caravan officials, was completed, it opened for worship.
The mosque will serve as a center for the Muslim community, a place of worship, a place for political conversation, religious education, as well as a learning center. (ILKHA)
