At least 18,500 Russian soldiers killed since war began—Ukrainian Defense Ministry
More than 18,500 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since the aggression began, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Ukraine’s forces destroyed 676 Russian tanks, 150 aircraft, 134 helicopters, and 1,858 armored carriers, according to the statement.
The statement added that Ukrainian forces had destroyed 332 Russian artillery systems.
According to the United Nations, at least 1,430 Ukrainian civilians were killed in Russian attacks.
4.2 million refugees have left Ukraine, while an estimated 6.5 million people have been displaced within the country since Russian aggression began. (ILKHA)
