Erdoğan holds phone call with his Finnish counterpart
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has held a phone call with President Sauli Niinistö of Finland.
The call addressed the Türkiye-Finland relations and regional matters, the Turkish presidency said in a statement.
Erdoğan voiced his pleasure over the fact that the first meeting of the Türkiye-Finland Joint Economic and Trade Committee would be held in Ankara in June.
Highlighting the increasing importance of cooperation in the defense industry, Erdoğan voiced his expectation for the obstacles to exporting military materials to Türkiye to be lifted.
Also addressing the Russia-Ukraine war, Erdoğan noted that they continued their attempts with a view to achieving a ceasefire and opening humanitarian corridors. (ILKHA)
