17,300 Russian soldiers killed since war began—Ukrainian Defense Ministry
17,300 Russian soldiers have been killed in Ukraine since the aggression began, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry said in a statement on Wednesday.
Ukraine’s forces destroyed 605 Russian tanks, 131 aircraft, 131 helicopters, and 1,723 armored carriers, according to the statement.
The statement added that Ukrainian forces had destroyed 305 Russian artillery systems.
According to the United Nations, at least 1,179 Ukrainian civilians were killed in Russian attacks.
UN refugee agency said that more than 4 million Ukrainians had been forced to leave their country since Russian aggression began. (ILKHA)
