“It has been learned with great sorrow that the landslide that took place in Oman’s Al Dhahirah region caused loss of life and injuries,” the ministry said.

“We wish Allah’s mercy upon those that lost their lives at the disaster, convey our condolences to the government and the people of Oman and the bereaved families, and wish speedy recovery to the injured,” the ministry added.

On Sunday, a series of large quarry landslides occurred at Ibri in Al-Dhahirah governorate in Oman. At least six people were killed and four others injured in the incident, according to Omani officials. (ILKHA)
