Erdoğan, Putin agree on holding Russia-Ukraine negotiation in Istanbul
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin on Sunday.
The two leaders addressed the latest situation in the Russia-Ukraine war and the negotiation processes, according to the Turkish presidency.
Stressing the need for the immediate establishment of a ceasefire and peace between Russia and Ukraine as well as the amelioration of the humanitarian situation in the region, Erdoğan stated that Türkiye would continue to lend every kind of support regarding the process.
Erdoğan and President Putin of Russia agreed on holding the next meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian negotiation delegations in Istanbul. (ILKHA)
