Sheikh Sabri warns of settler break-ins at Aqsa during Ramadan
Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, head of the Higher Islamic Council in Occupied Jerusalem, has held zionist regime fully responsible for the consequences of its intent to allow Jewish settlers to desecrate the Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement on Saturday, Sheikh Sabri affirmed that the occupation state would be responsible for any possible deterioration of the security situation in Jerusalem if it persisted in protecting the settlers who defile the Aqsa Mosque.
He pointed out that such step would contradict the zionist government’s claims about its keenness on calming and defusing the situation in the holy city.
The Jerusalemite official warned that no one could stop the Palestinian people when they rise up to defend their Mosque.
Recently, the zionist occupation authority decided in principle to allow Jewish settlers to tour the Aqsa Mosque’s courtyards during Ramadan. The decision was taken following a meeting held by officials from the police and the national security council.
Zionist premier Naftali Bennett also intends to hold another meeting in the coming days to take a final decision in this regard. (ILKHA)
