Cattle prices rise by 18.46% in Turkey
The increase in 2021 compared to the previous year was realized as 15.88% at the price of cattle (cross-breed) and as 16.04% in the price of cattle (domestic), the Turkish Statistical Institute said in statement.
The highest increase in 2021 compared to the previous year was realized for angora goats with 30.28% and kid of ordinary goats with 27.79%.
Cow's milk price increased by 25.77% compared to the previous year
The increase in 2021 compared to the previous year was realized as 26.45% in goat's milk price and as 38.45% in sheep's milk price. The lowest increase in 2021 compared to the previous year was realised as 7.98% in wool price and as 19.71% in the price of honey.
The annual increase in livestock value was realized as 22.25%
The production value of bovine animals became 149.55 billion with an increase 19.08%, the production value of sheep and goats reached to 79.23 billion with a 30.60% increase and production value of poultry became 9.83 billion TL with an increase 11.22% compared to the previous year. (ILKHA)
