Islamic Movement calls for intensive Muslim presence at Aqsa Mosque
The Islamic Movement in Occupied Jerusalem has urged the Palestinian citizens from across the occupied territories to intensify their presence at the Aqsa Mosque, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
In a statement on Saturday, the Islamic Movement said that a number of Jewish festivals and occasions coincide this year with the days of Ramadan, which entails intensive presence of Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque to foil any settler attempt to defile it during the holy month.
The Islamic Movement also applauded the Palestinian families of as-Sawahira and Jebel Mukaber in east Jerusalem for their decision not to respond to the zionist municipality’s orders that force them to demolish their own homes at their own expense.
The Movement stressed that such position should be backed and circulated throughout the holy city in the coming days.
“It cannot be deemed reasonable if we demolish our homes with our own hands and relieve the occupation from committing its own crime,” the Movement underlined. (ILKHA)
