European Orphans Hand gives out food aid in Afghanistan
European Orphan Hand (Avrupa Yetim Eli), an international help organization based in Mannheim, Germany, has distributed food parcels to hundreds of people in Afghanistan’s northern Kunduz province.
The organization, which aids orphans and the needy across the World, is continuing its relief efforts in Afghanistan, where more than 23 million people face acute hunger, including 9 million who are nearly famished, due to 2 decade-long US occupation.
With the help of donors, the organization provided food assistance to Afghan people, who had to sell their clothes and shoes in order to be able to buy food for their children.
Speaking to Ilke News Agency regarding their charitable works in Afghanistan, Nurullah Günaydın, Turkey’s coordinator of the organization, said that they would continue to deliver donations sent by philanthropists to orphans and families in need in the country. (ILKHA)
