Construction cost in Turkey rises by 79.91% annually
Construction cost index increased by 79.91% annually and by 15.24% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Thursday.
In January 2022, construction cost index (CCI) increased by 15.24% compared with previous month and increased by 79.91% compared with the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 10.12% and labor index increased by 33.83% compared with the previous month. Also, material index increased by 98.20% and labor index increased by 41.02% compared with the previous year.
Building construction cost index increased by 77.78% annually and by 14.82% monthly
Building construction cost index increased by 14.82% compared with previous month and increased by 77.78% compared with the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 9.20% and labor index increased by 34.67% compared with the previous month. Also, material index increased by 95.54% and labor index increased by 41.09% compared with the previous year.
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 87.22% annually and by 16.63% monthly
Construction cost index for civil engineering increased by 16.63% compared with previous month and increased by 87.22% compared with the same month of the previous year. Material index increased by 13.11% and labor index increased by 30.75% compared with the previous month. Also, material index increased by 106.92% and labor index increased by 40.74% compared with the previous year. (ILKHA)
