Price of wheat (other) increased by 35.95% compared to the previous year, the agency said.

The other products with increase in 2021 compared to the previous year were lentil (red) with 58.69%, barley (other) with 47.35% and potatoes (other) with 12.37%.

Price of tomatoes (for table) increased by 14.78% compared to the previous year

Among the vegetables, price of cucumber (for table) with 30.22%, price of eggplant with 22.15% and price of pepper (green) with 13.03% increased compared to the previous year in 2021. On the other hand, the only product that decreased in price compared to the previous year was onion (dry) with 24.86%.

Price of olive (for table) increased by 31.85% compared to the previous year

Among the fruits, beverages and spice plants, in 2021 the products that increased in price compared to the previous year were oranges (Washington) with 34.99%, grapes (for table-seed) with 21.69% and apples (starking) with 19.32%. On the other hand, the only product that decreased in price compared to the previous year was lemons with 31.81%.

Annual production value of cereals and other crop products increased by 34.98%

The production value of fruits, beverages and spices crops increased by 22.26% to 113.16 billion TL and the production value of vegetables increased by 7.44% to 59.40 billion TL. (ILKHA)
