Erdoğan holds phone call with Moldavian President Sandu
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan spoke by phone with President Maia Sandu of Moldova.
The call addressed Russia’s attack on Ukraine, as well as humanitarian aid and evacuation, the Turkish presidency said in a statement.
Noting that they continue to exert every effort in their power for the restoration of peace, President Erdoğan said that he believed that the meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Russia, which will be held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Thursday and include Minister of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu, would help to cross an important milestone on the path to peace.
