Turkish, Russian, Ukrainian Foreign Ministers to meet in Antalya
Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and his Ukrainian counterpart Dmytro Kuleba will meet on the margins of Antalya Diplomacy Forum on Thursday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said.
“Upon President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s initiatives and our intensive efforts, Foreign Ministers Sergei Lavrov of Russia and Dmytro Kuleba of Ukraine have decided to meet with my participation on the margins of Antalya Diplomacy Forum,” Çavuşoğlu tweeted.
“Hope this step will lead to peace and stability,” he added.
The Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF) is a high-level meeting where ideas and views on diplomacy, policy and business are exchanged by policymakers, diplomats, and academics in Antalya, Turkey.
The meeting brings together some 2,000 participants – among which are diplomats, business leaders, political leaders and economists – for up to three days to discuss global issues across several sessions.
The 2022 edition of the forum will take place on March 11–13, under the overarching theme of “Recoding Diplomacy”. (ILKHA)
