Ukrainian Defense Ministry: 5,840 Russian soldiers were killed since aggression began
5,840 Russian soldiers have been killed since Moscow’s aggression against Ukraine began, Ukrainian Defense Ministry said on Wednesday.
“Russia has lost 5,840 Soldiers, 211 Tanks, 862 Armored Vehicles, 30 Aircraft, 31 Helicopters,” the Ministry said on Facebook.
According to the United Nations, at least 136 Ukrainian civilians have been killed and 400 others injured as a result of shelling and airstrikes.
More than 660,000 people have so far been forced to leave their homes in Ukraine due to Russian attacks. (ILKHA)
