Erdoğan, Belarusian President Lukashenko hold phone call to discuss Russia-Ukraine war
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan had a phone call with President Lukashenko of Belarus, his office announced.
“In a phone call with President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Belarus and the efforts to restore peace,” Erdoğan’s office said.
According to a subsequent statement, the call addressed Russia’s military intervention in Ukraine and the latest developments.
During the call in which the negotiations between Ukrainian and Russian delegations in Belarus were discussed, Erdoğan stated that Türkiye would continue its efforts for the cessation of the war and the restoration of peace. (ILKHA)
