Palestinians injured as clashes erupt in Nablus
Clashes broke out between Palestinian young men and zionist occupation forces (ZOF) stationed at a military checkpoint at Jabal Gerizim in Nablus, in the northern West Bank, on Sunday evening.
Local sources said that young men burned a military tent belonging to the zionist occupation army near the military checkpoint set up on locals' lands on Jabal Gerizim.
In their turn, ZOF soldiers fired teargas bombs and many Palestinians suffered breathing problems as a result of the intensive firing.
On a weekly basis, Palestinians hold demonstrations against illegal zionist settlements in different parts of the West Bank, especially in Beita, Beit Dajan, and Kafr Qaddoum villages.
There are about 650,000 Jewish settlers living in 164 settlements and 116 outposts in the West Bank, including in Occupied Jerusalem.
Under international law, all Jewish settlements in the occupied Palestinian territories are considered illegal. (ILKHA)
