ITTIHADUL ULEMA, Prophet’s Lovers call for participation in Quds Week events
In a joint statement, ITTIHADUL ULEMA and the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation have called on all people to attend the events that will hold on the occasion of “International Quds Week” from February 25 to March 4.
“The cause of Quds (Jerusalem) is the common cause of all Muslims. It is one of the causes that will exalt the Ummah (Islamic World), realize unity among Muslims, and will bring humiliation on the most brutal enemy of the Ummah. It is obligatory for all Muslims to defend Quds, to put the cause of Quds on the top of the World’s agenda, to work for the liberation of it. The cause of Quds is a matter of honor for all Muslim peoples,” the statement said.
“We expect that all our people, all Muslims who desire the liberation of Jerusalem, all conscientious and free-willed people who are disturbed by the murders and atrocities of the murderous zionist gangs will support and participate in the events that we will organize on the occasion of the International Quds Week,” it added.
The preparatory committee for the International Quds Week announced recently that the event, which was held for the first time last year, would start on February 25, and would continue until March 4.
The International Quds (Jerusalem) Week aims to activate the role of the nation towards the Palestinian cause and to integrate the scholarly institutions directly into practical projects to support Jerusalem and Palestine, and push them to lead the peoples in the work of victory and defense of the cause. and Palestine, and achieving effective and joint communication between the nation’s scholars and unifying their efforts towards the cause.
Dozens of scientific institutions and associations, and civil society organizations working for Palestine, in addition to a group of supporters of the Palestinian cause worldwide, including the Association of Muslim Scholars in Iraq as well as ITTIHADUL ULEMA and the Prophet’s Lovers Foundation in Turkey, will participate in the event.
