Interpol issues red notice for Turkish mafia boss
The International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) has issued a red notice for Sedat Peker, who is accused of “leading an organized crime group”.
Interpol issued the red notice for Sedat Peker on February 1, 2022, and notified the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Offices in Istanbul and Bursa about it, Turkish officials said.
Sedat Peker is a Turkish mafia boss who has made various allegations about Turkish politicians and numerous government engagements in illegal activities through his own YouTube channel.
Red Notices are issued for fugitives wanted either for prosecution or to serve a sentence. A Red Notice is a request to law enforcement worldwide to locate and provisionally arrest a person pending extradition, surrender, or similar legal action. (ILKHA)
