Erdoğan to attend NATO Leaders’ Summit online
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will attend the online NATO Leaders' Summit on Wednesday.
Erdoğan postponed his visit to Guinea-Bissau, the third stop of his Africa tour, due to the online NATO Leaders' Summit scheduled for tomorrow.
Erdoğan and the accompanying delegation will return to Türkiye following their visit to Senegal.
The decision comes as Russia decided to recognize the two breakaway regions of Ukraine, Donetsk People's Republic, and Luhansk People's Republic, as independent states and deployed troops to Donbas, in a move interpreted as Russia's effective withdrawal from the Minsk Protocol. (ILKHA)
