Türkiye donates 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine to Congo
As part of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s official visit, 100,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Turkish presidency said.
Erdoğan presented the vaccines to President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of the Congo during a symbolic ceremony held in a hotel in Kinshasa.
In his address, Erdoğan expressed his hope that vaccines would bring health to the whole population of the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
In accordance with Erdoğan's directive, 1 million 100,000 additional doses of the COVID-19 vaccine will be supplied to the country. (ILKHA)
