Agricultural input price in Turkey rises by 45.61% annually—statistical agency
Agricultural input price index increased by 45.61% annually and 9.82% monthly, the Turkish Statistical Institute said in a statement on Monday.
Agriculture-IPI (2015=100) increased by 9.82% compared to previous month, increased by 45.61% compared to December of the previous year, increased by 45.61% compared to same month of the previous year and increased by 27.89% compared to twelve months moving averages, in December 2021.
Monthly changes by main groups, goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 7.30% and goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 10.19%. The goods and services contributing to agricultural investment index increased by 31.91% and the goods and services currently consumed in agricultural index increased by 47.85% compared to same month of the previous year.
Compared to general Agricultural-IPI, lower annual change observed in 6 subgroups while 5 subgroups were higher
Subgroups that indicated low increase were materials with 16.22% and veterinary expenses with 16.98%. On the other hand, fertilizer and soil improvers with 152.42% and farm buildings (non-residential) with 69.89% were the subgroups that high annual increase realized.
Compared to general Agricultural-IPI, lower monthly change observed in 6 subgroups while 5 subgroups were higher
Seeds and planting stock with 0.90% and veterinary expenses with 1.32% were subgroups that indicated low monthly increase. On the other hand, maintenance of materials with 19.27% and fertilizer and soil improvers with 18.20% were the subgroups which high monthly increase realized. (ILKHA)
