Hamas calls for active participation in “International Quds Week”
The Hamas Movement has called for actively participating in the activities of al-Quds Global Week to be held in support of the Palestinian people’s legitimate right to defend their land and holy places, especially Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
In a statement on Saturday, Hamas valued the efforts to revive and organize al-Quds Global Week, which is an event aimed at supporting Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque.
“Defending and patronizing Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque and protecting them against the occupation’s threats, its aggression and crimes is the common responsibility of the Arab and Muslim nations,” the Movement underlined.
It considered al-Quds Global Week as “an opportunity to renew the pledge of allegiance to Jerusalem and the Aqsa Mosque and strengthen the presence of the Palestinian cause and keep it alive in the Arab, Islamic and international arenas.”
The preparatory committee for the al-Quds Global Week announced recently that the event, which was held for the first time last year, would start on February 25, and would continue until March 4. (ILKHA)
